No pain no gain

I don’t necessarily agree with the phrase “no pain, no gain” and now is no exception. If we’re hurting then we can’t exercise. Monday I did too many sit ups on the floor in my living room and the rug rubbed my tailbone raw. Ouch! I will spare you a picture :). It hurts though, extremely bad. Not only can I not do sit ups or crunches, and my PT test is less than one month away, but I can’t lay down with any pressure on the left side of my body. Naturally my husband thinks its hilarious, but I disagree.
Let’s hope I can do the required amount of sit ups. Because of this little setback I am focusing more on other exercises such as those to strengthen my legs (squats, lunges, etc) and my arms (pushups, bicep curls, and tricep kickbacks).
