Sunday night I had a little too much margarita while enjoying dinner with a couple of friends. Needless to say, my scheduled run yesterday didn’t go as planned. I didn’t even make it a mile and I was ready to give up. Well, eventually I passed the mile marker and switched to the elliptical. I then completed two miles and moved onto the recumbent bike and rode three miles. After that I was done. I was a bit disappointed in myself for doing so little on my run, but too much alcohol will do that to you. I’m not a drinker, so I’m guessing any amount of alcohol will do that to me.
The kids and I went home and my son and I decided we should pair his room since my workout was a bit on the easy side.
I LOVE painting! It’s so relaxing and you actually get a pretty good workout. You work pretty much the whole body: from your arms (obviously) to your legs (up and down the ladder, squatting to get those low spots on the wall) and even your abs (as you’re moving the roller from side to side). I LOVE PAINTING!!!
Painting with your children makes the process o a bit slower (paint on the floor, the kids, the doors, etc), but it was worth it. He and I both had fun and we were being productive.
