I’m not a big smoothie person, but my son wanted one so of course I jumped to making one. I dug out the blender and started adding ingredients:

Fat free yogurt
A spoonful peanut butter
1 super ripe banana
Ice cubes
And a splash of apple juice because it was a bit thick.

And then blended.

It was pretty tasty. The peanut butter and yogurt provide protein to help keep us full while the blueberries contained tons of antioxidants to fight those yucky free radicals within our bodies. The banana and apple juice added a bit of sweetness so that we didn’t have to add any sweetener.
The kids and I almost drank the whole batch, but set aside 6 oz to freeze for later.

Mmmmmmmm yummy!
