Everybody needs a little pizza now and then, and my family is no exception!
Here my oldest is enjoying a slice of cinnamon pizza at Panhandler’s in San Marcos, TX. We aren’t big fans because they are really lacking in flavor, but their salad bar is getting better. They surely aren’t the healthiest, but it is pizza so we aren’t expecting much. Add that to the fact that Cici’s has been closed for quite a while, we’re compromising. There are ways to enjoy pizza while eating a healthy diet:
1. Stick to thin crust
2. Eat the marinara sauce, not the cream
3. Light on the cheese
4. Heavy on the vegetables
5. And last but not least–fill up on salad!
