Merry Christmas!

I had a great Christmas with family and really enjoyed all the time we were able to visit.

It was my youngest son’s first Christmas, and although he wasn’t interested in the presents, he loved being held by his aunt!

As with many people on holidays, there was too much food, but I was able to fit in a few healthy meals. I’m really enjoying mixing up different oatmeal favors here lately and trying them with different fruits or none at all.



After a 6 hour long drive yesterday we were glad to be home and back into our own bed. I had to make a stop at the grocery store this morning so that we could restock our supply of produce. Breakfast was pretty slim as I found black beans and rice with chips.

It was tasty, but I missed my fruity oatmeal.

I’m off to study for my ACSM personal training certification exam! I was hoping I would be able to take the exam during my semester break, but it might not happen.
