My Mother in law makes the best green beans ever.
I’ve tried making them before without the olive oil, but it doesn’t taste the same. This is a must try, seriously…you won’t regret it. My husband asks for these all the time and although my son isn’t a fan, he did eat one green bean last time. That’s a huge improvement because he is going through the no veggie stage right now.
Here is how I made these.
Many many man handfuls of frozen green beans
a few chugs of extra virgin olive oil
Morton’s seasoning, yellow label blue lid (quite a few shakes)
1/2 c water or more depending on how many green beans you put in the pot.
Turn the stove on, place all in the pot and cover. Cook until the beans look as though they are done. Take the lid off and let the liquid cook out.
